Family Resource Program Assistant
$20.52/hour
30–35 hours/week, 8 weeks
Supports daily operations of the playroom, plans activities for children's development, works with supervisory staff, and assists with special summer programs.
Key Requirements
- Working toward diploma/certificate/degree in Early Childhood Development, Child & Youth Care, Family Studies, Social Work, or Public Health
- MS Word, Excel, and social media proficiency
- Criminal Record Check required
- First Aid Certificate required
- Age 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Returning to school fall 2026
On-Call Part-Time
Children's Program – Family Support Worker Assistant
$20.52/hour + 4% vacation pay
Mon–Sat availability, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM shifts
Staff member assisting with drop-in and structured playroom programs for children birth to 6 years. Supports family resource best practices in a safe, inclusive environment.
Key Requirements
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience with young children and families
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Successful Criminal Record Check
- Comfort in cross-cultural, multilingual settings
- Non-judgmental, inclusive, and genuinely positive attitude toward diversity
